I’m heading up to the East Midlands this September for Off The Tracks — Dub Catalyst take the Marquee Stage on the Friday night.
This one’s been running since before I was born — thirty-odd years of the same family putting on the same kind of weekend, farmhouse and fields. There’s something honest about that. It’s the sort of place where the music gets to just be the music.
Eleven of us filling that marquee after dark — horns, bass, the whole weight of it moving through a room full of people who’ve been coming back to this field for years.
