Mucky Weekender opens with us this year — Thursday night, first band on a bill that runs three days deep into Hampshire woodland.
Barry Ashworth built this one from nothing, and we’ve shared enough stages with Dub Pistols this year that turning up to his own festival feels less like a booking and more like an invitation. Circus of Freaks is the theme for 2026 — circus acts, street performers, four stages, one of them hidden away in the trees. The kind of place you’re told you can arrive alone and leave with a hundred new friends.
Eleven of us opening the gates on a 28-acre field, horns first, bass right behind. Get there for the Thursday and you get the whole weekend stretching out ahead of you.
