I’m stepping onto someone else’s stage for this one — depping on guitar for Kayco down at The Boxing Gym in Bristol, supporting Undercover Hippy on a night they’re calling “After All.”
Kayco’s sound moves through jungle breaks and lo-fi hip hop and everything between, backed by a six-piece band that doesn’t sit still. I don’t know that stage yet, not properly — but that’s half the reason to say yes when someone asks.
Undercover Hippy keep turning up in my orbit lately, one way or another — Dub Catalyst’s shared a bill with them more than once this year already. Feels less like coincidence now, more like a thread worth following.
