Who we are
This website is reuben-lovett.co.uk, for singer-songwriter Reuben Lovett. Reuben Lovett is responsible for your personal data (the “data controller”).

What we collect and why
Subscribe form. If you subscribe, we collect your name and email address so you can confirm your subscription and receive news and announcements. We only add you to our list after you confirm by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help block spam and automated submissions.
Booking forms. If you use a booking form, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry, so we can reply to you.
Cookies and tracking. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run comments. Some links on this site take you to other services (such as YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, Instagram, Facebook and Bandsintown). They have their own privacy policies.
Our legal basis
For the subscribe form, we rely on your consent. For booking enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
How form messages are handled
Form messages are emailed to a website mailbox hosted by IONOS, which forwards them to a private Gmail account. A copy stays in the mailbox until it is deleted. Confirmed subscribers are recorded in a private Google Sheet. We do not sell your personal data.
We use these services to run the site and handle your messages: IONOS (hosting and email), Google (Gmail, Google Sheets and Search Console), Cloudflare (form protection), and Dropbox (private website backups). The website is hosted by IONOS on infrastructure in Europe. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
Subscribers. We keep your details until you unsubscribe. When you do, we delete your signup emails from our mailbox and our Gmail account, and delete your row from the subscriber sheet, within 30 days. We make an honest effort to clear your details from every record we control. We cannot control the internal backups of the services we use.
Booking enquiries. We keep enquiry emails as a record of our communication with you. We use them only for that and to reply to you. We do not add you to our mailing list or send you marketing because you made an enquiry. We review the enquiries we hold once a year and delete those we no longer need. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Website backups. Backups of the website are kept in a private Dropbox account and are replaced automatically over time.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email info@reuben-lovett.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the published page shows when it last changed.
